Historical Glass Museum Foundation

The Historical Glass Museum Foundation was organized in 1976 by a group of dedicated glass collectors, headed by Dixie Huckabee, with the ultimate goal of establishing a museum on the West Coast. The Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt entity, and operates the Museum's physical plant.

The Foundation and Museum are located in the city of Redlands, California. Membership is nationwide with a large concentration in California. Members include individuals, families, and glass clubs.

The Museum Foundation is governed by an elected Board of Directors who elect the Officers of the Foundation. The Foundation, through its Board of Directors and Officers, oversees the day-to-day operation of the Museum itself, attending to the physical plant; the financial affairs; and the glass displays, special exhibits, and events.
